Salary: £60,000 – £70,000 + Bonus 


Location: UK Remote (with regular UK travel & visits to Colchester)

The Opportunity

We’re working with a growing, well-backed insurance business specialising in auxiliary products and personal lines, currently expanding its UK footprint.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a commercially driven Business Development Manager to join a business where growth is a real priority - not just a buzzword.

The Role

You’ll play a key role in expanding distribution and driving new revenue, focusing on building strong partnerships across the insurance market.

This is a field-based, relationship-led sales role with the autonomy to manage your own pipeline and territory.


What you’ll be doing:

  • Identifying and securing new business across insurers, brokers, and MGAs

  • Developing long-term partnerships that drive sustainable revenue

  • Promoting a suite of insurance and ancillary solutions

  • Managing your own pipeline — from prospecting through to close

  • Contributing directly to the wider commercial growth strategy


About You

  • Proven experience in B2B insurance sales

  • Strong track record of hitting or exceeding revenue targets

  • Confident engaging with brokers, insurers, and MGAs

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills

  • Self-motivated and comfortable working in a remote, field-based role

  • Experience within ancillary or legal expenses insurance is a bonus (but not essential)
