Commercial Account Handler

Location:

Newbury, UK

Salary: 

£35,000 - £40,000 per year (plus performance bonus)

Hours: 

36.25 hours per week, Monday to Friday

eSpace Recruitment is excited to partner with a well-established insurance brokerage to find skilled Commercial Account Handlers for their Newbury, UK office. About the Role

As a Commercial Account Handler, you’ll play a key role in managing a diverse portfolio of commercial clients and supporting the brokerage’s niche scheme book of business. Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing commercial lines risks, including:

• Property Owners

• Commercial Combined

• Cyber

• Building Contractors

• Processing renewals, mid-term adjustments (MTAs), and new business quotations.

• Building and nurturing relationships with prospective customers to grow the business.

• Delivering exceptional client service to maintain and strengthen long-term relationships.

What You’ll Bring

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in commercial insurance within a brokerage.

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

• A commitment to delivering outstanding customer service.

• Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage your own portfolio of clients and prospects.

• Experience with scheme binders or delegated authorities (desirable but not essential).
