The Opportunity
We’re partnering with a well-established, high-growth insurance business specialising in auxiliary products and personal lines, now entering an exciting phase of expansion.
This is a senior, revenue-owning role where you’ll take full control of new business strategy and play a key part in scaling the organisation’s commercial success.

The Role
As Head of Business Development, you’ll own the end-to-end new business function, from shaping strategy through to hands-on delivery and team leadership.
This is a player-manager role - you’ll set direction, but also be actively involved in building pipeline and closing deals.
Key responsibilities include:
Defining and executing the new business strategy aligned to ambitious growth targets
Driving revenue across insurance and ancillary product lines
Personally generating and converting pipeline — prospecting, pitching, closing
Leading, coaching, and scaling a high-performing BD team
Building strong partnerships across insurers, MGAs, brokers, and affinity channels
About You
Proven success in B2B insurance sales, ideally within auxiliary or personal lines
Strong knowledge of insurance distribution models and partnerships
Track record of exceeding sales targets individually and through a team
Commercially sharp with a proactive, deal-focused mindset
Confident in outbound business development and closing high-value deals
Experienced leader who can motivate and drive performance
