Job Description
A prestigious national law firm is seeking a Health Care Associate (2–6 years’ experience) to join its highly regarded Health Law practice in Los Angeles. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a top-ranked team that advises major health systems, physician groups, life sciences companies, and healthcare investors.
Key Responsibilities:
Advise clients on federal and state healthcare regulations, including fraud and abuse laws, HIPAA, Stark Law, and reimbursement frameworks
Support transactions involving healthcare entities, including M&A, joint ventures, and compliance due diligence
Assist in government investigations, audits, and enforcement actions under Medicare/Medicaid and related programs
Draft and review legal documents across regulatory, transactional, and litigation matters
Collaborate with senior attorneys to deliver practical, solutions-focused advice
Candidate Profile:
J.D. degree with excellent academic credentials (GPA 3.5+)
2–6 years’ health law experience from a law firm, government agency, or in-house legal department
Prior AmLaw 100 firm experience preferred
Strong working knowledge of Anti-Kickback Statute, Stark Law, HIPAA, False Claims Act, and corporate practice doctrines
Excellent writing, research, and analytical skills
Highly motivated, proactive, and able to thrive in a collaborative environment
